Searches held in cross-border crime probe
A series of searches are being carried out today by detectives investigating cross-border crime.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland and the Gardaí are understood to be involved in operations at several locations, including Warrenpoint in Co Down.
A police spokeswoman said: “The PSNI are carrying out a number of searches with our colleagues in An Garda Siochana as part of a cross-border investigation into serious crime.”
The searches are being carried out on both sides of the border but police declined to reveal any further details.
