Four killed in weekend crashes

Four people have died in road accidents in Ireland over the weekend, bringing the total number of deaths on the country’s roads this year to 336.

A motorcyclist was killed in a head-on crash with another vehicle in Broomfield, near Castleblaney, Co Monaghan, at around 3pm yesterday afternoon.
