Wicklow woman killed in Tennessee bus crash

An Irish woman in her 50s has died in an overnight bus crash in the US state of Tennessee.

The woman, from Arklow in Co Wicklow, was among at least two people killed when the bus collided with a tractor in Nashville last night.

Local police said the bus appeared to have driven through a red light while bringing tourists back to their hotels following a boat cruise.

Details of the incident are still sketchy, with some reports saying five people had been killed and others suggesting a number of other Irish people may also be injured.
