Rescuers have been searching for the pair since the body their friend, 24-year-old Martin Griffin, was found on the shore near Doolin last Tuesday.

The three are believed to have been travelling in a 4x4 vehicle that crashed over a cliff and into the sea in the area the previous morning.

The body found today was discovered in the same location as that of Mr Griffin and has been taken to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital for identification and a post mortem.
