The Government has advised Irish people travelling in France to exercise extra caution due to the rioting that has gripped the country's capital in the past 11 nights.

Suburbs throughout the city have seen nightly riots since two teenagers died while allegedly being chased by the police almost two weeks ago.

The Government has advised Irish people to monitor the local media and listen to the advice of local authorities if they are in or near any of the affected areas.
