Two men in their 20s have been detained in County Mayo following a bank raid in the town of Belmullet earlier today.

Two men in their 20s have been detained in County Mayo following a bank raid in the town of Belmullet earlier today.

Staff at a branch of the AIB were confronted by two men brandishing knives, who subsequently made off with an undisclosed sum of money in a silver Mercedes car.
