Two men killed in Galway and Kerry road accidents

Two men have died in separate overnight road accidents in Co Galway and Co Kerry.

A 39-year-old man died in a collision between a number of cars in Derrydonnell, near Oranmore, Co Galway, at around 11.30pm.

In Co Kerry, meanwhile, a 21-year-old man died and seven others were injured in a three-car pile-up at Gortroe in Killarney shortly after midnight.

Gardaí are withholding the names of both victims until all next of kin are informed.

Traffic diversions are also in place following the Co Galway crash.
