Injunction blocks Irish Ferries from going ahead with redundancies

SIPTU this afternoon succeeded in securing a High Court injunction preventing Irish Ferries from pushing ahead with its redundancy plan.

The injunction, which is valid until Wednesday, prevents the company from issuing redundancy packages to those who have not signed up yet.
