Two men killed in Offaly, Carlow accidents

Two men in their 50s and 70s were killed in separate road accidents in Co Offaly and Co Carlow last night.

A 72-year-old cyclist died after he was hit by a lorry near Clara in Co Offaly just after 8pm, while a 59-year-old man died in a collision between two vans at Leighlinbridge in Co Carlow just before 6pm.
