Waterford’s outer ring road to open today

Waterford's new outer ring road is due to be officially opened to traffic today.

The 7km dual carriage has been built during the past two years at a cost of €37m.

The road is designed to improve access to Waterford Regional Hospital, the city's Institute of Technology, the South East Regional Airport and the local IDA industrial estate.
