Circuit Court judge appointed new Abbey chairman

A Circuit Court judge has been appointed as the new chairman of the troubled Abbey Theatre in Dublin.

Co Kerry native Brian McMahon, the son of the late Abbey playwright Brian McMahon, has been appointed to the position for the next five years.
