Irish Ferries redundancy deadline expires this weekend

The deadline for acceptance of the Irish Ferries redundancy offer is due to expire this weekend.

The company wants to replace the 540 workers on its Irish Sea routes with cheaper labour from abroad and has offered existing staff eight weeks of pay per year of service.
