Rossport Five relatives meet with Statoil in Norway

Statoil today confirmed they had met with relatives of the Rossport Five in Oslo.

The Norwegian company said it welcomed the opportunity to address concerns over the Corrib gas pipeline in which it has a minority stake.

The company insist there is no safety compromise on proposals to bring gas ashore which are in line with projects in Norway and elsewhere.
