ESB restores power to thousands of homes in Co Dublin

The ESB has restored power to thousands of homes and businesses in north Co Dublin that were left in the dark following a transformer fault early this morning.

Around 3,000 premises were affected by the blackout in the Swords area, but all had their electricity supplies restored by lunchtime.
