Driver dies in ambulance crash in Cork
A ambulance driver is dead following an ambulance crash in County Cork.
It happened near the village of Inishannon, in West Cork, around 5am.
A second ambulance man and a patient who was being transported at the time were also hurt in the single vehicle crash. They are being treated at Cork University Hospital for their injuries.
It’s the third death on the roads in less than 24 hours and the second crash involving an ambulance in recent days.
An ambulance and car crashed on the South Quays, near Dublin’s O’Connell Bridge on Thursday.
