Ulster Unionist Party leader Reg Empey has demanded measures to address the grievances that have sparked an upsurge in loyalist violence in the North.

Speaking after a meeting with Northern Secretary Peter Hain today, Mr Empey said he condemned the violence, but added that the issues that caused it must be tackled.
