150 jobs to go at Cork manufacturing plant

Cork became the latest county to suffer job losses this afternoon.

ADM, which manufactures citric acid for the soft drinks industry, announced it was to close its plant in Ringaskiddy.

Some 150 people face redundancy. The company said it was no longer economical to operate in Ireland.
