Ireland’s largest pharmaceutical plant creates 1,000 jobs
A major biotechnology plant was officially opened today in Dublin by the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and the Tanaiste Mary Harney.
The Wyeth Grange Castle biotech production facility cost €1.8 billion and measures 1.2 million square feet in Clondalkin, Dublin.
The company is now Ireland’s largest pharmaceutical employer with 1,000 employees.
Minister for Trade, Enterprise and Employment Micheál Martin said Ireland offers a highly-skilled workforce to major manufacturing companies.
