Man charged as accident victim remains critical
Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to a serious accident in Finglas.
A pedestrian is in a critical condition after he was knocked down on the North Road. The accident happened shortly after 1:00am.
The driver of the car that hit the man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. Gardaí say he has now been charged in connection with the accident.
The victim is being treated at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.
