Fifth person arrested over €10m drug seizure in Kildare

Gardaí in Co Kildare have arrested a fifth person in connection with a major cannabis seizure in Carbury, Co Kildare, on Tuesday.

The man, who is in his 30s, was arrested last night in Carbury.

He is being questioned about the seizure of €10m worth of cannabis during a raid on a house in the town on Tuesday evening.

Three Irish nationals and a Spaniard who were arrested during the raid remain in Garda custody.
