Teen dies in Co Kildare crash

A 17-year-old man has died following a road accident in Co Kildare.

The teenager was fatally injured when the car he was driving struck the wall of a bridge at Kilcock at about 5am.

He was taken to James Connolly Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

There was no one else in the car at the time of the accident.
