An Post raises €100,000 from St Patrick's Day cards

Two charities have received donations of €50,000 each from An Post, raised from sales of St Patrick's Day cards designed by John Rocha and artist Graham Knuttel.

The Chernobyl Children's Project and Sports Against Racism Ireland are the charities benefiting from the donations.

Founder of SARI Frank Buckley said the donation meant a lot: “We've been struggling for the last nine years with funding but the work that people do around Sports Against Racism Ireland is kind of a reward in a lot of ways. With today’s announcement of €50,000 for the charity, we're all delighted.”
