Ryanair has initiated High Court proceedings against the Government in a bid to overturn what the airline calls "the unlawful decision to allow a second terminal be built by the Dublin Airport Authority without any public competition or tender".

Ryanair has initiated High Court proceedings against the Government in a bid to overturn what the airline calls "the unlawful decision to allow a second terminal be built by the Dublin Airport Authority without any public competition or tender".

Ryanair is challenging this decision on competition and public procurement grounds under Article 82 and Article 86 of the European Treaty.
