Co Down Orange hall damaged in suspected arson attack

Police in the North are investigating a suspected arson attack on an Orange Order hall in Co Down early this morning.

The PSNI said a fire destroyed an arch at the entrance to the building on Causeway Road in Newcastle at around 3.15am.

The blaze comes ahead of Orange Order parades throughout the North today to coincide with the annual Twelfth of July celebrations.
