Brian Rossiter inquiry: Terms of reference being determined
The terms of reference for the State inquiry into the death of a 14-year-old boy who died while in garda custody are being worked out this weekend.
The Department of Justice has said the terms will be sent next week to Senior Counsel Hugh Harnett, who is carrying out the investigation.
Brian Rossiter died after slipping into a coma while in garda custody in Clonmel in September 2002.
Michael McDowell launched the state inquiry this week, which will look into all circumstances surrounding Brian's arrest and treatment and the role of all gardaí who came into contact with him.
