New campaign to highlight upsurge in gay hate-crime

Gardaí and the gay community have joined forces in an effort to raise awareness of a recent upsurge in gay hate-crime.

The two groups are due to launch a range of leaflets and posters today aimed at highlighting the problem and encouraging victims to report crimes.
