Few people get involved in political activism - survey
Most Irish people believe they have the power to influence political decisions, but very few get involved in political activism, according to a survey conducted for the social policy think-tank TASC.
Two-thirds of the 1,200 respondents to the survey said they felt they had the power to influence politics and 70% said they voted in elections, but only 4% said they had taken part in a party political campaign in recent years.
