Man dies in Belfast stabbing
Police in Northern Ireland have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed on the outskirts of Belfast early today.
Detectives were questioning two men about the incident which occurred in Pembroke Court in Carmoney.
The victim, who was in his thirties, was attacked around 2.30am.
Two men, who are not those being questioned about the incident, sustained injuries, but they were not believed to be life threatening.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out later today.
Police were unable to state what the motive for the attack may have been, stressing their investigation was at an early stage.
Detectives in Newtownabbey have appealed to anyone with information about the attack to contact them and help their investigation.
