Cash and cigarettes stolen from Co Roscommon post office

A gang of raiders has escaped with an unknown sum of money and a large quantity of cigarettes following an overnight robbery at a post office in Co Roscommon.

The thieves cut the telephone wires to disable the alarm at the post office in Athleague.
