Four escape injury in gun attack on Derry home

A 10-year-old girl and three adults have escaped injury in a gun attack on a house in the Creggan area of Derry early this morning.

A 10-year-old girl and three adults have escaped injury in a gun attack on a house in the Creggan area of Derry early this morning.

A number of shots were fired through the window of the house in Melmore Gardens at around 2.15am.

The occupants were shocked, but unhurt.

The PSNI said it was keeping an open mind about the motive for the shooting.
