Equality Authority reports increase in ageism complaints

The Equality Authority has reported an increasing number of calls from older people who believe they are being discriminated against because of their age.

The authority is due to launch a Say No to Ageism campaign this morning in the hope of promoting new practices that do not exclude older people.
