Man dies in road accident on outskirts of Limerick

A man has died after the car in which he was travelling crashed on the outskirts of Limerick city last night.

A second man was injured in the accident, which happened on the Ballysimon Road at around 11.30pm.

No other vehicles were involved and Gardaí are withholding the dead man's name until all next of kin have been informed.
