Opposition TDs today called for clarification of immigration law as 48 Nigerian nationals continued a five-day hunger strike at a Dublin hostel.

The men came to Ireland to be reunited with their families but they say “house arrest” conditions imposed by the Justice Department mean they can’t travel to see their wives and children.
