Mayo call centre to close

About 70 jobs are to go in Co Mayo as the Castlebar branch of Contact Partners Limited is to shut and production moved to the company's other operations at Shannon.

Workers at the UK-owned call centre were told the news at around 4pm and are being offered positions at the Shannon facility.
