The Department of Defence is reportedly planning to make a 100-bed military hospital available to the health services in an effort to alleviate A&E overcrowding.

Reports this morning said St Bricin's Hospital in Dublin would be made available to the Mater Hospital in an effort to ease overcrowding in the latter's accident and emergency department.
