Charred human remains discovered in burnt-out mobile home

Charred human remains have been found in a burnt out mobile home on the Galway-Clare border.

The discovery was made last evening in a remote area, at Ballybornagh, in Tubber near Kinvara.

The scene has been preserved for the arrival of the Deputy State Pathologist.

Gardaí say they can't confirm whether the body is that of a man or a woman.

An incident room has been set up at Gort Garda Station.
