Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information about the theft of almost €2.5m from a security van in Dublin last week.

Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information about the theft of almost €2.5m from a security van in Dublin last week.

The money was stolen after the van was hijacked when the driver stopped for coffee at a service station in Artane last Wednesday morning.

Detectives investigating the robbery want to speak to any customers who were in the Maxol service station on Kilmore Road between 7am and 7.30am on the day of the raid.
