Govt accused of delaying improved childcare regulations

A group representing people involved in the childcare sector has accused the Department of Health of deliberately delaying the introduction of improved regulations for the sector.

The Early Childhood Organisation said a review of the regulations commissioned by the Department was taking too long and it suspected it was being delayed for financial reasons.
