Gardaí recover vehicle involved in security van raid
Gardaí have recovered the white van which was used in yesterday's armed raid on a security van in Dublin in which €2.5m was stolen.
The vehicle was spotted by members of the public north of Dundalk last night.
It contained no money and had not been burned out.
The van has been forensically examined at Santry Garda Station in Dublin.
Gardaí have also confirmed the stolen cash includes £16,000 (€23,300) to £17,000 (€27,800) in sterling notes.
They have asked anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Killester area of north Dublin yesterday morning to come forward.
