The body representing adopted people in Ireland has welcomed the official launch of a new register to help adopted people contact their natural parents.

The body representing adopted people in Ireland has welcomed the official launch of a new register to help adopted people contact their natural parents.

Adopted people and their birth parents can put their names on the register and, if a match is made, both parties will be informed individually and offered the opportunity to make contact with each other.
