Dáil committee discuss clean-up at Silvermines

A Dáil committee is meeting to consider ways to clean up a toxic mine waste dump in North Tipperary.

Residents of Gortmore near Silvermines say it has been polluting the area for 20 years.

Local TD Maire Hoctor says a survey commissioned by locals found lead dust in the area.
