ICTU condemns Bank of Ireland plan to shed 2,100 jobs

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions has condemned Bank of Ireland’s plans to lay off 2,100 workers as part of a cost-cutting programme.

The bank announced the move yesterday, saying it wanted to reduce its annual costs by €120m within the next four years.
