Govt announces €7m funding to promote equality for women

Justice Minister Michael McDowell has announced a €7m funding allocation to promote equality for women.

Mr McDowell said the money would be made available to 58 projects under the RAPID programme, a special funding scheme set up to aid community and voluntary groups.
