Cash transportation firm Securicor has defended its procedures in the wake of yesterday's robbery of €2m and the associated abduction of a staff members family.

Cash transportation firm Securicor has defended its procedures in the wake of yesterday's robbery of €2m and the associated abduction of a staff members family.

Detectives believe the incident was carried out by a north Dublin gang.
