Two released in missing woman murder probe

Two men questioned about the murder of a woman who vanished from a caravan park party were released without charge today.

Lisa Dorrian, 25, disappeared from the seaside site along the Ards Peninsula in Northern Ireland nearly two weeks ago.

Even though the shop assistant’s body has yet to be found, a massive hunt for her has been turned into a murder inquiry.

Police had arrested both men earlier this week.

Ms Dorrian, who lived 10 miles away in Bangor, was last seen leaving a party at Ballyhalbert park early on February 28.

Air and land searches were carried out along the coast, with police divers also brought in to strengthen the effort.
