Two women still in custody over Dublin gangland murder

Two women are still in Garda custody this morning in connection with the murder of a 25-year-old man in Kilmainham.

The married man, who was known to gardaí, died in hospital shortly after being shot twice in a gangland-style assassination on Military Road just after midnight on Tuesday night.

The two women were arrested yesterday afternoon in connection with the murder and are being held at Kevin Street Garda Station.
