Rights body seeks referendum on role of women in the home

The Human Rights Commission is reportedly calling for a referendum to repeal the section of the Irish Constitution that protects the role of women in the home.

Reports this morning said the commission was also calling for a constitutional amendment to specifically outlaw discrimination based on gender and 12 other grounds.
