Govt to set up new one-stop service for immigrants

The Government is reportedly planning to set up a new service to process asylum applications, work permits and visas as part of an overhaul of the immigration system.

Reports this morning said the establishment of the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service was expected to be approved by the Cabinet tomorrow.
