Sexually transmitted infections climb 6.5%
The number of sexually transmitted infections has risen by 6.5% across the country, new figures revealed today.
A total of 11,153 STIs were reported during 2003 compared to 10,471 in 2002, according to the latest figures from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre.
