Expenses for Circuit and District judges up 20% last year

The amount of money paid in expenses to Circuit and District Court judges reportedly increased by 20% to more than €2m last year.

Reports this morning said the country’s 31 Circuit Court judges received an average of €28,536 each in expenses in 2004, while the 53 serving District Court judges received €21,903 each.
